The contract concerns either the physical Monvou product described on the product page, including the stated QR feature, or a credit package expressly identified as digital for an existing Monvou code. Images are illustrative; the product description, selected option or package SKU, price and order summary are decisive.
3. Ordering process
Add products to the cart, review items and quantities, optionally redeem a discount code or gift voucher, enter billing and delivery details and, where a payable balance remains, select a payment method offered by Stripe. Review the order summary before submission. By pressing the appropriately labelled order button you submit a binding offer to enter into a purchase contract.
4. Correcting entries
Until submission, you can change the cart, quantities, applied discount and voucher codes, addresses, notes and, where applicable, the payment method. Required fields and identifiable errors are displayed before payment confirmation.
5. Formation of contract
The automated receipt confirmation initially confirms delivery of your order. The contract is formed when we expressly accept it, provide binding confirmation of payment and order, or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first. No contract is formed if payment is declined or cancelled.
6. Contract text and language
Order details and this information are stored and provided with the order confirmation in text form. Contract languages are German and English. Customer accounts are not offered.
7. Prices and shipping
The final prices and tax information shown at the time of ordering apply. Shipping costs and delivery time are shown on the product page, shipping page and at checkout. A valid discount code is shown separately before the order is submitted and only reduces the eligible merchandise value displayed for it; shipping is reduced only where this is expressly stated. A valid gift voucher is then shown separately and applied to the order total. The remaining payable amount is displayed immediately before the order button.
8. Payment
Any remaining payable balance is processed by Stripe. Checkout only shows methods actually available for the order, device and location. A valid gift voucher may be applied in full or in part; no additional Stripe payment is required where it covers the entire order. Individual providers may have additional terms. An order is treated as paid only after server-side payment confirmation or binding voucher redemption.
9. Delivery
Physical goods are delivered to the stated address within the displayed shipping area. Current delivery time and cost are shown in the shop. Digital credit packages are assigned to the Monvou code confirmed at checkout after payment is confirmed; no physical shipping takes place.
10. QR feature and technical requirements
The digital Monvou function can be activated and configured after receipt by scanning the QR code for the first time.
Depending on the function selected after receipt, a personal card, photo, audio, video, link, group message or timed surprise may be provided.
An internet connection and a current browser with a camera or QR-scanning function are required. No additional app is generally required.
Minimum availability: 10 years from first activation
Necessary security and compatibility updates are provided during the promised minimum availability period, insofar as they are required for the agreed use. If the service is planned to be discontinued after the promised minimum period, Monvou will provide reasonable advance notice using the available contact details where possible.
11. Customer-provided content
You may only upload or link content for which you hold the necessary rights and which does not violate third-party rights or law. Access details and the QR code must be protected against unauthorised disclosure. Separate privacy information may apply to the relevant digital feature.
12. Retention of title
Goods remain our property until full payment.
13. Defects
Statutory warranty rights apply. Contact us with the order number and a detailed description of any damage or malfunction.
14. Applicable law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice does not remove mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence.
15. Service, returns and withdrawal
