Group cards explained simply
The roles are intentionally simple. Contributors do not need to be in the same place or pass a physical card around.
Sets up the group card, shares the invitation link and keeps track of contributions and the deadline.
Open the invitation link and add personal words with an optional photo, voice message or video.
Later scans the QR code and experiences the completed group card in the browser.
What does personalised mean?
You choose a card, tag or slate product with a suitable material and design. Special design requests apply only when they are explicitly offered for that product or agreed separately.
Every Monvou item and every purchased printable QR has its own code connecting it with its digital content.
When setting up the code in Monvou, you choose the digital option and add your content. The recipient later opens the finished message.
Monvou credits are a balance assigned to a Monvou code for creating or changing digital content. The required credits are shown when editing in Monvou. Check the product description for the included balance. Additional credits top up an existing code; they are not a shop gift voucher or a new QR-code gift.
You can edit your message or replace its content while keeping the same QR code. Replacing content can permanently delete the previous content, so keep your own copies. Depending on the action, credits may be required; the amount is shown when creating your message in Monvou.

No. The digital Monvou view opens directly in the smartphone browser after scanning.
You do not need to prepare the message when buying. Scan the QR code after receiving the item to set it up. If direct design is offered at checkout, you can request a design link after purchase and prepare the message before delivery.
Up to 30 contributions are possible. Contributors add personal words with an optional photo, voice message or video greeting using the invitation link. The separate video message is designed for one individual video.
Yes. The invitation link can be shared regardless of location. Contributors only need a current browser and an internet connection.
People with the QR code or result link can open the view. An optional opening PIN can provide additional access protection.
No. The public examples are protected by an unpublished editing PIN. They are provided only for viewing and testing.
A digital card combines text, a photo and optional voice audio. Use the separate video message for one personal video, or a group card to collect contributions from several people, including individual video greetings.
Yes. Open the invitation link and add words, a photo, a voice message or a short video greeting. Each contribution can contain one photo, audio recording or video, with personal words alongside it. Your phone decides whether its file picker also offers recording a new video.
You can edit your own contribution, replace or remove its media, or delete the contribution using your contribution access. The organiser can hide contributions. The recipient opens “View video greeting” and starts playback themselves.
JPG, PNG and WebP photos are supported. With photo processing active, supported HEIC/HEIF and AVIF photos can also be prepared and saved as WebP. With media preparation active, supported M4A audio, iPhone MOV videos and WebM recordings can be prepared for browser playback. The editor shows the available formats and limits.
You capture the moment. We take care of suitable playback. With media preparation active, supported video is prepared as MP4 and audio as MP3. Video orientation and supported HDR recordings are taken into account. File-size and duration limits still apply.

Prepared video files may be up to 12 MB. Preparation does not remove the upload or duration limits. For group cards, each contribution contains one medium, with optional personal words.
